Applicants are required to be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of British Columbia. The successful candidate would be practicing with other Urologists in the region to deliver a Regional Service to the Northwest of British Columbia. There is adequate OR time as well as Cystoscopy time.

The site is a 25 bed facility offering a full range of services including:
- Diagnostic Radiology
- General Surgery
- Emergency
- Pediatrics
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Internal Medicine
- Orthopedics
- Extended care
- Psychiatry
The referring facility of Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace is currently being replaced by a state of the art new hospital build scheduled to open in 2024. The new build will consist of 72 beds and a level 3 trauma unit with a full compliment of Specialists and Diagnostic and Medical Imaging modalities as well as an ICU.

- Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available: Up to 2 years $1,800; In 3rd & 4th year $4,800; after 4 years $7,800. Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.
