Role and Facility Information

Dr. Wayne Perry will be retiring from his Family Practice on June 30, 2023. His practice is in Tillicum Medical Clinic , in Tillicum Mall, and is co-located with the Family Practices of Dr. Chris Chandler, and Dr. Larry Mah, and the Tillicum Medical Walk-in Clinic.

The practice is turn-key, being completely ready and set up for an incoming physician. There are approximately 2000 patients associated with this practice, but the incoming physician could take all or some of those and could work part-time or full-time. Practice sharing with a colleague would also be an option.
Dr. Perry combined his practice with doing some Walk-in work, and it would be an option for a replacement physician to do the same.

This position might suit 2 Doctors who want to work together in managing this large practice, combined with doing some walk-in work.

Tillicum Medical Clinic was the site of one of the longest established walk-in clinics in Victoria, and it remains one of Victoria's busiest walk-in clinics, where the vast majority of patients seen are well known to the clinic and have extensive longitudinal medical records on our OSCAR EMR.

There is a huge advantage of having the walk-in clinic as a back up to the Family Practice. It enables you to have the freedom of knowing there is care with full access to the EMR notes, available for your patients when you are unable to see them.
