The Fraser Urology North Group is looking to hire a full-time urologist. The practice is centered at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Patient catchment includes Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Mission, North Langley, and Port Coquitlam.
This posting is to replace a retired full time urologist position. The position includes one full day of OR time, one half day endoscopy time, and one-quarter day ambulatory procedure clinic each week at RMH. The successful applicant will be responsible for covering RMH ER and ward call 50% of the time (Monday to Friday). There is a one in eight-weekend call responsibility covering the following hospitals - Ridge Meadows, Langley Memorial, and Peace Arch.
Fellowship level subspecialty training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery is preferred. Competency in laparoscopic prostatectomy, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, and upper tract endourology essential. An interest in ongoing quality improvement and a willingness to lead quality improvement (QI) projects is required. Coverage of a full spectrum of urological care is necessary in this suburban community practice setting.
