Estimated Yearly Remuneration:$300,000+ (Fee for Service and Sessions).
MOCAP Level 1 for On-Call.
MSP Premium 23.10% + $26,591.40 Annual Bonus (Flat Fee).
$20,000 Signing Bonus + Relocation funding $9,000 - $15,000.
REAP and RCME funding available.

Join a growing Regional Psychiatry Team in Northeast British Columbia (currently two Psychiatrists in Dawson Creek and two in Fort St John). Dawson Creek Hospital has 15 regional adult psychiatric beds.

Work in a supportive private practice and mental health team - there is also an excellent working relationship with our local Primary Care Physicians.

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 15 regional adult psychiatric beds and 31 acute care beds. Services include:

The city has a wide variety of authentic cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, and Italian (to name a few), and also a wide variety of dining atmospheres: choose from high end restaurants, hotel buffets, familiar franchises, and local coffee shops.

Dawson Creek has eleven elementary schools, one middle school, one secondary school, and one private school (kindergarten to grade 12). Northern Lights College provides post-secondary education.

Dawson Creek Regional Airport offers FREE parking. Westjet provides regular scheduled service to Calgary.

Compensation is based on Fee-For-Service MSP billings AND sessional payments. MOCAP (Medical On Call Availability Program) Level 1 available on top of MSP billings. Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) available. Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available. Relocation funding: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.
