Position Summary

Interior Health is seeking a dynamic permanent part time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Outreach Urban Health team in Kelowna In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care in an established and welcoming environment to clients of Outreach Urban Health while working within an interdisciplinary primary care team of other NPs, GP, RN, SW. The goal of this service is to increase the availability and continuity of primary care services and provide holistic patient centred health care that are delivered in a culturally safe manner to a vulnerable and at risk population inclusive of migrant workers, woman’s health, mental health and substance use, chronic conditions, and economic barriers.

Qualifications

• Current registration and exam-qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

• Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).

• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
