We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Medical Imaging department.

Reporting to the Regional Director, Diagnostic Services and the Health Service Administrator, organizes and performs x-ray examinations, ensures consistent quality of radiographs and performs related patient preparation.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Mon, Wed, Thurs / 08:30 to 16:12, 08:30 to 12:30

Fraser Lake Community Health Centre is a diagnostic and treatment centre with no in-patient or overnight beds. It has four outpatient beds for emergency stabilization and transfer and provide services such as diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and community palliative care support. Other services include primary care, mental health & substance use, occupational therapy and dietitian.

Fraser Lake has a population of 1,354 local residents. It marks the eastern edge of the Lakes District, and is located in a land dotted with lakes, rivers, mountain ranges and valleys, where outdoor recreation truly knows no limits. . Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved radiology technology program and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiological Technologists.

Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in all type of general radiography and advanced procedures preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with patients, departmental, medical and nursing staff and outside agencies.
• Organizational skills. Ability to keep abreast of technological developments in the field to ensure high standards for patient care.
• Demonstrated physical health for frequent standing, reaching, lifting and bending. Exposure to radiation and infectious materials.

Fraser Lake

Fraser Lake is fondly called the "Swan Capital of the World" for the hundreds of trumpeter swans which migrate there each November.
