We invite experienced and new grad family physicians to come check out the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Join a diverse group of Family Practitioners in Terrace, a teaching site for UBC Medicine, three Primary Care clinics, outstanding specialists support and services.

Come for a locum and surround yourself by the stunning coastal mountain range and lush ancient rainforest just minutes away from the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the mild winters, back and cross country skiing, heli-skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, indoor and outdoor skating, ice-fishing and an evening soak in the local hot springs. In the summer, go golfing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the pristine lakes and of course, the world-class Salmon fishing. Keep an eye out for a rare white Kermode or “spirit” bear. Terrace is a vibrant, entrepreneurial and friendly community with a medical catchment area of 31000, clean air, affordable life and housing. Historically a forestry industry, Terrace has grown into a regional service town with government and educational social services as the biggest employers as well as strong presence of construction, trades, transportation and growth in manufacturing and tourism. There are three secondary and six elementary schools, one long-distance education and one French immersion, a Northwest Community College campus and a University of British Columbia campus.

Terrace is home to Mills Memorial Hospital, a fully accredited 44 bed, acute care facility, with an average 24,700 ER visits per year. State of the art double the size new hospital is coming soon! Today services include:
