Position Summary

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is seeking a Relief Full Time Medical Radiography Technologist (MRT) to join the Medical Imaging Department. This position is relief upon the return of incumbent with day and evening shifts.

What Will You Work On?
Our MRTs perform X-ray exams in a multi-disciplinary setting to clients within a variety of inpatient settings, including, but not limited to: ICU, ED, OR and PAR. This position includes work with outpatients at RIH and a smaller satellite clinic in Kamloops. Additional shifts can be picked up. There are also opportunities to pick up work in some of the smaller communities in the surrounding area.

Many nearby communities rely on our site for imaging resulting in a very busy and diverse atmosphere. The successful applicant will be providing X-ray services to inpatients and outpatients, making a difference within many communities.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a qualified technologist who has excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills. The successful applicant must be able to work independently but also have great team work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
• Eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
