Panel of 1200 pts available with options for 2- 4 days per week, flexible, no WIC commitments, hospital rounds presently expected but could be up for discussion. Possibility to SHARE this panel with another physician.

Compensation: $300,000+ (Fee For Service)

Overhead: $4500-$5500/month

This is lovely practice of 7 physicians, with both LPN and RN support, in beautiful Summerland on the west side of Okanagan Lake. We're an exceptionally collegial medical community where physicians in all three clinics collaborate for on-call, after-hours walk-in clinic, and inpatient service:

* Group inpatient coverage with hospitalist style rounds 1/8 weeks - so you're not worried about inpatients on days you are not working.

* Cross coverage for urgent clinic and care home matters on days not in hospital.

* Opportunity to work elsewhere in the community on days off if desired, but not mandatory-- e.g. MHSU clinic, ER, walk in clinics, etc.

We admit to Penticton Regional Hospital, a quick 15 minute drive from clinic, where family physicians are well supported by a large group of specialists. In addition, we serve 2 long term care facilities located nearby.

Our clinic is actively engaged with the UBC Southern Okanagan Family Practice Residency program, so you will have opportunity to teach and mentor, if you so choose. Agencies of Doctors of BC, including the local Division of Family Practice and the Practice Support Program support our team with various quality improvement initiatives and CME.
