Build on your career experience by:
Determining education priorities that meet clinical and learner needs in collaboration with the Manager/Director
Developing and revising educational programs
Creating supportive and interprofessional learning environments and build strong professional relationships with learners
Planning educational activities and evaluating program effectiveness
Participating in research, policy, quality improvement, and risk management activities
Your background includes:
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year of education and/or leadership experience
Completion of post graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
Valid BC Driver’s Licence and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes
This role is a relief full time position located at Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH), Rosewood Residential in Langley, BC. LMH is a community hospital with 192 acute beds offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, critical care, ambulatory care as well as 24/7 emergency services with 47,640 visits annually. Langley is comprised of the City of Langley and the Township of Langley, including the village of Fort Langley – the birthplace of BC. As of May 15, 2020 in order to mitigate the risk of the transmission of Covid 19 among persons in our care, patients, residents and also staff in our long term care facilities, an order under the Public Health Act was enacted to limit movement of staff between long term care facilities. While this order is in place staff will be limited to employment in only one (1) long term care facility. This vacancy is located at a long term care facility and will be pursuant to this order.
