Vernon Jubilee Hospital is a 160 bed acute care hospital serving the growing communities within the North Okanagan region of approximately 120,000 residents. The new 230,000 square foot Polson Tower at VJH is a state-of-the-art facility with leading-edge technology and was built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental design gold standards. This new tower offers a new and expanded Emergency department, Intensive Care and Coronary Care units, new Women’s and Children’s Services department, new operating theatres and medical device reprocessing department. Vernon Jubilee Hospital is also a satellite teaching hospital for the medical program at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. At VJH you will find a seasoned, supportive and cohesive team that will allow you to challenge yourself professionally while enjoying all the personal pursuits available to you within this fantastic community and world renowned vacation destination.

Practice Details:

Vernon offers a walk-in ready office with experienced MOA and billing support. The 4 Vernon pediatricians share an office 5 minutes from Vernon Jubilee Hospital. No time spent in traffic. Everywhere in Vernon is 40 minutes from the ski hill. And yes, the weather is as nice as you’ve heard!

We have knowledgeable and supportive ER physicians, a collaborative OBGYN, Family MD and midwife delivery team and dependable nursing support with 9 delivery rooms, 4 nursery beds and 5 pediatric beds.

The nursery services babies 34 weeks and up. There is a diabetes clinic, if interested, and an opportunity to teach 3rd year medical students with the ICC program. Call would be 1:5.
