Role and Facility Information
The Clinic in Chilliwack is looking for a new family physician to join their team. Currently out staff consists of 2 Full time practices which is run by 4 part time family physicians. We have a lovely new location which we moved into in September 2020 in downtown Chilliwack only one block from the hospital. We have a practice nurse who is funded by the division who is phenomenal at providing patients with great care. Her roles include routine PAPs, injections, ear syringing, chronic care reviews (asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension), warfarin reviews and dose changes, well baby checks, and recalling patients who are due their chronic care reviews. Our focus for the future is to build on our allied professionals and incorporate them as much as we can to primary care to provide a great standard of care within general practice.
We also have 2 full time MOAs with a full time practice manager.
We are looking for one full time GP to join our team and start their own practice or 2 part-time GPs who also want to start their own practice which might be considerably smaller. We also would be open to nurse practitioners who are either very experienced or a graduate who may need some help and support throughout their first few years within primary care.
Our practice currently has 8 clinical rooms including a treatment room where we offer minor surgery, IUD insertions, nexplanon insertions and pipelle biopsies.
Both practices do maternity care and we also have the availability of our handheld USS machine.

- Relocation Allowance is available from Fraser Health if you desire to care for your patients in hospital.
