The Saanich Peninsula Hospital's department of Emergency Medicine is currently looking to hire a part-time Emergency Medicine Physicians.
The Saanich Peninsula emergency department provides care for both pediatric and adult patients. Internal medicine and General Surgery are accessible within the hospital while most other consultants are 30min away at our local tertiary hospitals. Physicians must be comfortable in a single coverage department.
Applicants must hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine, and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
Affiliation with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program provides teaching opportunities to medical students and residents.

Located north of Victoria, the Saanich Peninsula is made up of the municipalities of Central and North Saanich, and the City of Sidney, with a population of 38,000.
