BURNABY HOSPITAL - Obstetrics/Gynecology – Full time position

The ideal candidate will be interested in a general Ob/Gyn practice in a community hospital, be responsible for covering 1:5 call (home call), be an exceptional team player, be keen to teach medical students, and be prepared to endeavour on leadership and administrative roles. An interest or further postgraduate training in urogynecology would be an asset.

Burnaby Hospital is a community 286 bed hospital with a Level 2 nursery (32 wk gestational age) and manages close to 1,300 births per year. Anesthesia, pediatrics and obstetrics deliver 24/7 call services. We have an exceptional team of pediatricians, anesthesiologists, fellow surgeons, etc., that work well together in a collegial community setting.

We look forward to working with the successful candidate to deliver both maternity care and gynecology services with which our patients, staff and physicians can share a sense of pride.
