Central Interior Rural Primary Care Network is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a permanent full time basis in Williams Lake, B.C. This exciting Nurse Practitioner position will provide comprehensive primary care in an established, welcoming, and team based environment within the urban setting in Williams Lake. Based out of a patient medical home within the local primary care network, the successful applicant will work within a team of primary care providers. Our local primary care team is flexible and dynamic, offering the ability for the Nurse Practitioner to bring their unique skill set or specialized area(s) of interest as an asset to this role. As the Nurse Practitioner you will be providing full primary care to an established roster of patients along with new patients in need. The goals of this service are to: • increase the availability and continuity of primary care services • enhance chronic disease care • and provide holistic patient centred health care that is delivered in a culturally safe manner. Job Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
• Current registration and exam qualified as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
• Successful completion of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
• Recent, relevant clinical nursing experience
