Locum Infectious Diseases Specialist

Part-Time 12-month Locum (0.50FTE, 18.75 hours per week)

Shifts: Tusday and Thursday 0800-1600 Outpatient Clinic Days

Salary $137,213 - $157,795 per annum

Reporting to the Division Head of the Division of Infectious Diseases, the responsibilities of this locum position include direct patient care (inpatient and outpatient), day to day management of patients as expected of a physician, including performing procedures, writing physician orders, attending rounds and team meetings and documenting a patient’s care, teaching and clinical and/or laboratory research when appropriate. This role will also involve approximately 8-10 weeks of clinical inpatient service which would include 24/7 on-call coverage.

To be considered for this position, you must have a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Medical Degree, Residency in Pediatrics, and Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and must be eligible for registration with the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.
