Role and Facility Information

The Fraser Health Authority (FHA), British Columbia's and Canada’s largest and fastest growing Health Region is seeking five qualified and dedicated full time Anesthesiologists in a new and unique position that will grant the successful candidate privileges across multiple sites within Fraser Health Authority.

The Regional Department of Anesthesia currently has approximately 160 members and participates in a wide range of intraoperative and perioperative care. There are 11 sites ranging from smaller community centers to large tertiary care academic centers. Our larger centers offer every service including (but not limited to) Level 1 Trauma, Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Thoracic surgery, and high risk Obstetrics. On-call responsibilities will be determined by each site but will be coordinated regionally. Successful candidates will report directly to the Regional Department Head of Anesthesiology.

Given that the Anesthesiologist in this role will be working at multiple sites, a successful candidate must be FRCPC or have full, unrestricted license to practice as a specialist Anesthesiologist.
