Position Summary

This position is responsible for the implementation and coordination of care plans for residents and supervision of staff in the care department within the facility. These duties include resident assessment, care planning and administration of medications, and medical treatments appropriate to resident needs, and provides supervision and formal input into performance reviews for care staff. These duties will be carried out according to established policies and procedures.


- Registration with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Two (2) years experience in a supervisory position.
- Knowledge of care planning processes.

Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with resident’s family members, staff effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize workload and operate related equipment.
