Island Health is hiring a Surgical Care Nurse.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.

- Registration with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN registrant.

- Post-basic education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing on a unit specific basis.

- An equivalent combination of education and training.

- Up to two (2) years recent, related experience on a unit specific basis.

- Basic Life Support, Level C.
