Are you passionate about providing quality physiotherapy care? We are looking for a temporary part-time Physiotherapist to join our team at Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health in Victoria, BC.

Job Summary
This is a temporary part-time role (until approximately November 2020) at The Queen Alexandra Centre for Children's Health. Queen Alexandra provides specialized health care services to children and youth with physical, developmental and or emotional/behavioural challenges.

Within the context of a multi-disciplinary plan for the child and family, you will provide diagnostic and remedial physiotherapy services to the child with physical disabilities to maintain and improve joint range of motion, strength, endurance, coordination, mobility, and physical independence through exercise, handling, use of adaptive equipment and therapeutic modalities. You may also provide work direction to Physical Medicine Assistants and other caregivers.

Qualifications
As the successful candidate, you are have a Baccalaureate degree or diploma in Physiotherapy or degree in Rehabilitation, along with a minimum one year experience in pediatric physiotherapy, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A current license to practice in British Columbia from the College of Physical Therapists of BC is essential, as is eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists (CPA). A valid Class 5 driver’s license is essential as some travel will be required.
