Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician for an exciting opportunity to provide Primary Care in clinic and also Emergency Room coverage.

Fort St John Hospital is a new state-of-the-art 55 bed hospital and 123 bed residential care facility serving a population of approximately 20,000 and is one of two area Emergency Rooms serving a catchment area of approximately 69,000.

The Emergency Room sees 25,000+ visits per year, currently covered by 3 full time Family Physicians with assistance from other Family Physicians in the community.

Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. ** This Relocation incentive is not available to physicians moving from a community within BC where a Recruitment and Retention agreement currently exists ** Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.
