Providence Health Care Vancouver, British Columbia Providence Health Care (PHC) invites applications for a hematologist position based at St. Paul’s Hospital, a University of British Columbia affiliated teaching hospital. PHC is a leading teaching and research organization and the Provincial Centre for the Adult Hemophilia, Hemoglobinopathy and Hemosiderosis programs, Center of Excellence for MDS as well as the provincial referral centre for Cardiac, HIV/AIDS and Renal Care. We are known for our centres for excellence and recognized for a number of specialty programs and services across the continuum of care – from acute to elder care. The Division of Hematology is actively involved in the care of patients with a wide spectrum of benign and malignant hematological disease from British Columbia and the Yukon.

The successful candidate will have a FRCPC in Internal Medicine and a Certificate of Special Competence in Hematology and must be eligible for licensure in the Province of British Columbia. Preference will be given to a candidate with subspecialty training. A clinical appointment commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate will be sought in the Division of Hematology, University of British Columbia. Remuneration will be according to the Hematology clinical service contract.
