DATES FLEXIBLE (minimum of 2 days in duration).

This is a "Hospital-Based" locum assignment.

Fort St. John Hospital is a new state-of-the art 55 bed hospital and 123 bed residential care facility serving a population of approximately 20,000 and a catchment area of approximately 69,000.

Regular hospital hours.

On Call Evenings: Yes
On Call Weekends: Yes

Local Resources:
Surgeons, OB/GYN, GPs, nurses, office staff, x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT imaging services, lab services, blood bank, Mammography, Echocardiography, Bone Densitometry.

Emergency Framework:
BC Ambulance Service provides coverage to this community, including Air Ambulance services.

Call Expectations: 1:3 (can do more, if desired)

Visiting Specialist/Consultant Information: ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology.

EMR System: Cerner
Training is provided for the EMR System: Yes
