Are you a PARR nurse who is easy-going, adaptable, and enjoys working as part of a team? Then we have an exciting nursing opportunity for you within our team here at Royal Inland Hospital’s Post Anaesthetic Recovery Room!

This is a permanent full time day/night vacation relief line and has on-call attached to some shifts.

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) has a busy surgical services department. Services provided vary from Daycare Surgery to Critical Care, Inpatient/Outpatient, Elective/Urgent and Emergency services. The patient population spans from pediatric to the elderly. The RIH PAR department has a team atmosphere with solid leadership. There is excellent support from the Patient Care Coordinator, the Educator and the Manager.

RIH is a tertiary referral hospital located in Kamloops serving the Thompson/Cariboo/Shuswap region of Interior Health. Kamloops is located in a scenic valley in BC’s Thompson Okanagan Region at the junction of the North and South Thompson Rivers. It is British Columbia’s third largest city. Qualifications

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practising registration with the
British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of critical care nursing and one year recent related clinical experience in the assigned practice environment on a post anaesthetic room or critical care environment similar in size and scope to the facility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
