Role and Facility Information

The clinic is located right near the downtown core of New Westminster across the street from Royal Columbian Hospital and the Sapperton Skytrain station. There are plenty of amenities surrounding the area including food, coffee, and daycares. In addition, there is a pharmacy, outpatient lab and x-ray services all within a block for easy patient access.

This busy well-established family practice has been running for over 25 years, it operates by appointment with a typical three-day wait for non-urgent bookings and uses Oscar EMR. The clinic’s hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 18:00; physician schedules vary throughout operating hours. It is based on fee for service and the split is based on the number of hours the physician works in the clinic. The clinic shares phone based after hours’ care on a rotating schedule.

The clinic has a tight knit team that promotes collaboration and an open atmosphere where physicians are supported. Moreover, there is a strong team of MOA’s as well as a primary care nurse for home bound patient support and social worker to assist in day to day practice. The physician team has a wide variety of medical interests including residential care, maternity, surgical assists, mental health, addictions care, and more.

The clinic is looking for various shifts to be covered between March 4th through March 29th (2019).
