We are seeking part-time Physiotherapist to work in Acute and Emergency within Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Rehabilitation Assistant support accompanies this position. We are seeking Physiotherapist with the knowledge and expertise in working independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team with ability to carry out assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Located in Trail, BC, Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital is responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area. Services offered by this hospital include core physician specialties, 24 hour emergency and trauma services, Level 2 laboratory, acute and obstetrical care, psychiatry, and chemotherapy.

This is a temporary assignment until the return of the regular employee (date of return not known). Rotation for this position is week on and week off; Monday to Friday (8:00 to 15:42 hours) with some shifts occurring on the weekend. Once hired into a temporary role an employee is eligible to apply internally on further temporary and/or permanent postings as they become vacant.
