As part of Port Alberni Community Health Services, you will provide community based Occupational Therapy services. You will provide consultation and education to clients, caregivers, staff and community partners on rehabilitation interventions through a variety of venues, which may include groups, one on one direct intervention or support. You will be part of a dynamic rehab team working across the care continuum, as well as our Geriatric Specialty Services and Primary Care Network.


You have a current practicing registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC), along with your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program.

Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) is essential; as is a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy (equivalencies may also be considered). Community experience would be highly desirable.
