Full-time Forensic Pathology position at Vancouver General Hospital

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital, is looking to hire an academically oriented full-time (1.0 FTE) forensic pathologist to join a team of 24 pathologists with sub-speciality practice focus, who provide surgical pathology coverage, to Vancouver General Hospital and the University of British Columbia Hospital.

Vancouver General Hospital serves as a referral centre for Forensic Pathology, with about 500 annual adult medicolegal and hospital post mortem examinations, including a substantial number of suspicious and homicide cases in the province of British Columbia.

Candidates for this position will require excellent diagnostic forensic pathology skills and the ability to work within a team environment. Vancouver General Hospital is a training centre for Pathology residents and medical students; therefore, a commitment to teaching is also required.
