Role and Facility Information

We are seeking casual physiotherapists to join our team at the Creston Valley Hospital.

The Creston Valley Hospital is a Community Hospital offering healthcare services including surgical, inpatient and emergency.

The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of patients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the patient to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team. This position works with an adult patient population.

The current schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30. Casual employment means there are no guarantee of hours and work requirements can vary between 0 and 37.5 hours per week. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent part-time or full time positions. • Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).

• One year of recent related experience.

• Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
