Our perioperative department handles general surgery, gyne-surgery, urology, ortho-arthroscopy and hardware removals excluding total joints. We do quite a few C-sections and we run an endoscope room (gastroscopes & colonoscopes) daily. Our RNs work in PAR on call which allows them to expand their practice.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).

Advanced preparation in perioperative nursing and one year recent related clinical experience in a perioperative department of similar in size and scope to the facility or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
