This facility's Perinatal department is a very active and busy unit, we have a relief full time opportunity waiting for you!

As the Perinatal Nurse, you will practice in a perinatal clinical setting and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

This position is to provide coverage until the return of the incumbent approximately until November 30, 2018. The shift types for this position are days, nights and the shift times rotate from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00.

Our facility serves a large geographical area stretching from Summerland to Osoyoos and across to Princeton. We have an active Perinatal Committee that works hard to ensure excellent standards of care.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Experience:

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).

Advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education & experience.

Current Fetal Health Surveillance.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NPR) within 2 years.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years.
