Community Health Practice Consultant
Northern Region, Full-time

As a CHPC you are caring and passionate about helping others. You are a motivated and comprehensive teacher, strategic in your thinking and global in your perspective on the evolution of nursing practices.
In the role of CHPC, you will provide education, thought leadership, and consultation on clinical practice services. This will include orientation, training, in-service, clinical support, and clinical competency assessments to nurses who provide health services to First Nations communities in British Columbia. The CHPC delivers professional nursing practice and program consultation supporting the development, implementation, and management of community based nursing programs.

Education & Experience
 Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
 Three (3) years of experience in Home and Community Care/Public Health Nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an acceptable combination of education, training and professional experience.
 Eligibility or current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses’ of British Columbia (CRNBC)
 Experience working in a First Nations community
