Role and Facility Information

A relief part time (0.50 FTE) opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Thompson Park Mall for a community based position to provide services to an adult clientele group with varying diagnoses and a variety of different conditions.

We are seeking Occupational Therapists with the knowledge and expertise in working independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team with ability to carry out assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education.

Shifts of work will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 08:30-15:15 with the occasional weekend shift. As this position is a .5, there is some flexibility around the days and shift times. This relief position will run until April 4, 2018 or return of the incumbent.

Position Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
**Use of personal vehicle required.
