The BC Cancer Agency (BCCA) is committed to reducing the incidence of cancer, reducing the mortality from cancer, and improving the quality of life of those living with cancer. BC Cancer Agency provides a comprehensive cancer control program for the people of British Columbia in partnership with regional health authorities to deliver a range of cancer services, which include prevention, screening and early detection, diagnosis and treatment, research, education, supportive care, rehabilitation and palliative care. It operates six regional cancer centres in Surrey, Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria, Abbotsford and Prince George, along with two research centres that conduct research into the causes and cures for cancer.

The BC Cancer Agency, Vancouver Center Clinic is British Columbia’s largest cancer centre and with a commitment to excellence and innovation in cancer research and care. A University of British Columbia teaching hospital, the Center is home to the second largest clinical trials unit in Canada and offers extensive translational opportunities with scientist collaborators at the BC Cancer Research Center, including the Michael Smith Genome Science Center.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified full time Medical Oncologist to provide patient care and to further our mandate for research and teaching. Priority will be given to applicants with post-certification fellowship training, experience at a major academic cancer centre, and a track record in relevant translational, clinical trials, and/or outcomes research. The major disease site of clinical care is negotiable for the successful candidate.
The candidate will support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program, including the teaching of postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students.
