Salary
Effective April 1, 2022, there is a nine-step wage scale for nurses in BC:

This wage scale does not include any applicable wage premiums for working nights, evenings, weekends, overtime, or working short. It also doesn’t include position premiums for “in charge” or “responsibility pay,” all of which can have a significant impact on your final compensation.
Details on these premiums, differentials, and allowances can be found in the Nurses Bargaining Association Provincial Collective Agreement.
