Role and Facility Information

This Medical Centre is a new Indigenous primary care home located in the Grandview-Woodland neighbourhood providing culturally safe healthcare with a circle of providers: Traditional Elders/Healers, Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Counselor, and Social Navigator. Lu'ma Medical Centre is improving the way healthcare is delivered, health outcomes, and disparities in health status & services for Aboriginal families. The clinic is focused on upstream solutions through attachment of children and youth to a primary care provider and supportive team early in life – building these relationships will shape the trajectory of their health & wellness throughout their lifetime. This Medical Centre is currently looking for Indigenous physicians interested in joining our team in Fall 2019, in an APP position with overhead covered.
