Role and Facility Information

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a full time Radiologist to practice at Richmond Hospital. Richmond Hospital provides medical imaging for the community, including x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and screening and diagnostic mammography, and interventional radiology.

The successful applicant will have the following requirements:

1) 1 year fellowship training in MRI (including neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging) and 1 year fellowship training in Neuroradiology.

2) Full FRCPC licensure by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

3) Full licensure by the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.

4) Proficiency in the following diagnostic radiology modalities:

a. X-ray, ultrasound (including nuchal translucency), bone densitometry, CT, and MRI.

5) Proficiency in the following interventional radiology procedures:

a. All ultrasound and CT guided biopsies and drainages.

b. Percutaneous cholecystostomy.

c. Percutaneous nephrostomy.

d. Percutaneous gastrostomy.

e. PICC placement.

6) Level 2 Cardiac CT Certification.

7) Demonstrated ability to perform in a high volume, multi-modality work environment.

a. Ideally, at least 1 year of full-time private practice experience.

b. Prior work experience at Richmond Hospital an asset.

8) Prior experience with CT/MRI protocol optimization and standardization.

9) Immediate start date.
