Subspecialty General

Role and Facility Information

A well-supported integrative family practice clinic in the Kitsilano community is looking for a GP to join. The clinic is a primary care facility that combines the care of a physician with an entire team of specialized healthcare professionals. This collaborative approach includes counseling, psychology, massage therapy, and exercise medicine & personal training among others. There is currently one family doctor working out of this clinic, with room for one more to join at a minimum of 30 hours per week.

The physician would have access to one exam room for the duration of their shift, and would be expected to adhere to the current patient payment model whereby patients pay an annual fee to the clinic in exchange for longer appointments and subsidized access to the additional healthcare services mentioned above. The physician at the clinic has his own patient panel, and the incoming physician can either bring a pre-existing panel along with them or start up from scratch with the help of the Vancouver Division of Family Practice.

The clinic runs on Osler EMR, and is willing to offer a 90/10 MSP split with a large amount of additional revenue from a portion of the annual patient fee.
