Specialist Nurses

How we can help

Our nursing recruitment services team will review your training and work experience to determine if you are likely to qualify as a specialist registered nurse in British Columbia (BC). (Please note: we do not facilitate the recruitment of licensed practical nurses or other nurses, only registered nurses.)

Specialist nurses are nurses who have advanced education, certification, training and/or experience. Currently, Health Match BC is only recruiting specialist nurses in the following areas:

•     Critical Care
•     Emergency
•     Neonatology
•     Pediatrics
•     Perinatal Care
•     Perioperative Care
Once you are registered with either the College of Registered Nurses of BC (CRNBC) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC (CRPNBC), we can assist you in applying to the health authority in the region of your choice.

When you have decided that you want to move to BC - and have registered with Health Match BC - we can:

  • guide you through the licensing process in British Columbia, including immigration procedures
  • facilitate contact with prospective employers and the regional health authority
  • Coach you in resume and interview questions
  • support you in making a seamless transition to your new job
