This section was created by the Health Care Students to Practice in BC (HCSPBC) committee - a partnership between the health authorities and Health Match BC. Our intent is to engage with nursing students and recent graduates so that they know they're valued, supported, and welcomed in BC.

We are available to provide information on:

• the current job market in the province
• nursing career opportunities in BC
• career pathways, licensing, and nursing programs in BC
• career growth including opportunities for advanced clinical practice.

Nursing is a career choice for many health-care students today. BC is an employment destination of choice for nurses from across Canada, North America, and the world.

Every year, for a variety of reasons, more nurses move to BC than leave our wonderful province.
