John Mabbott, Executive Director
John has more than 20 years of experience improving organizational and human resource performance primarily within British Columbia's health care system. His background includes building collaborative partnerships between employees, employers and post-secondary educators, businesses and government. He is the former Executive Director of the University of British Columbia Centre for Health Care Management, BC Society of Laboratory Science, and the Healthcare Labour Adjustment Agency of BC.
Jan Goode, Senior Consultant, Physician Services
Jan has over 25 years of experience in health care human resources and operations management in Canada and overseas. Prior to joining Health Match BC, she worked as Manager of Strategic Recruitment at one of Canada's leading medical schools. Jan has a Human Resources Diploma from Australia's SAIT College.
Susan Hill, Senior Consultant, Physician Services
Before joining Health Match BC in 1999, Susan served for 17 years as Director of Administration at the University of British Columbia's Department of Medicine - one of Canada's leading medical schools. She is also Past President of the Canadian Administrators of Internal Medicine and a co-founder of the Canadian Association of Physician Recruiters.
Margaret Kennedy, Senior Consultant, Physician Services
Prior to joining Health Match BC in 2003, Marg was a Recruitment Consultant for one of British Columbia's largest health authorities. She has over 25 years experience in clinical, administrative and academic nursing and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Marg is a practicing member of the College of Registered Nurses of BC as well as the 2008-2009 Chair of the Canadian Association of Staff Physician Recruiters.
Eva Mendez, Senior Consultant, Nurse and Allied Health Services
Eva joined Health Match BC in July 2009 from the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority where she was the Clinical Nurse Educator for Primary Care for the Inner-City, Clinical Nurse Educator for Communicable Diseases Control and a Community Health Nurse with their Infant, Child and Youth Program. Previously, she was a Public Health Nurse and Staff Nurse with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Eva is a registered nurse and has a BN as well as a BA (Political Science and History), a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and a MA in Leadership from Royal Roads University. She is fluent in Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese.
Pamela Adamchuk, Consultant, Physician Services
Pamela came to Health Match BC with 16 years of business experience including 12 years in sales, customer service and human resources in the telecommunications industry. She holds diplomas in both business administration and human resources from local colleges.
Yvonne Attwood, Recruitment Services Coordinator/Special Assistant
Prior to joining Health Match BC, Yvonne was the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of the Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC) for 3 years. Before joining HEABC, she was Executive Assistant/Office Manager for the BC Transplant Society. She spent the 5 years prior to that in Saudi Arabia as Office Manager for the Department of Pediatrics at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and traveling. Yvonne spent a number of years as Secretary of the BC Centre for Quality and is a certified Six Thinking Hats® trainer.
